JK's New Interval session

If you are a bit bored with your hours run try this one. I did it last night and it doesn’t matter where you do it….

Run out for a mile, at normal warm up pace. Then run 7 lots of 2 minutes (fast enough so you couldn’t hold a conversation), with a minutes rest (v.slow jog) between each. After 7, take 3 minutes rest and then repeat the 7 two minute bursts and finish with a slow jog home. So you put in half an hour of effort and cover about 6 – 7 miles, all within an hour.

It breaks up doing the mileage and takes your mind off of plodding round the distance or a route that you have gotten bored of.

Ivinghoe Beacons run 7th April 2012

I will just add the video I recorded after getting up a long steady incline....and yes I made a mistake as to where we actually were that day. I was tired, that's my excuse!!....brecon beacons....what a pleb I am for saying that haha.

After this video JK decided he wanted to stroke a cow.....  I really wanted the cow to charge haha

A few pics going around Ivinghoe....

We all felt like JK at this point.

I got a stranger to take a victory pose for us...he actually told us to stand up straight and not look so tired!

A couple of weeks back Staff had his turn to crash. This is why having a camera at hand is so funny at times...... I have to put this in mate haha
