JK's New Interval session

If you are a bit bored with your hours run try this one. I did it last night and it doesn’t matter where you do it….

Run out for a mile, at normal warm up pace. Then run 7 lots of 2 minutes (fast enough so you couldn’t hold a conversation), with a minutes rest (v.slow jog) between each. After 7, take 3 minutes rest and then repeat the 7 two minute bursts and finish with a slow jog home. So you put in half an hour of effort and cover about 6 – 7 miles, all within an hour.

It breaks up doing the mileage and takes your mind off of plodding round the distance or a route that you have gotten bored of.
